THUNDER BAY, ON – Over the past weekend, Lake Superior Biathlon member Joel Haering, 17, attended Biathlon Ontario 2023 CWG Selection Trials in Craftsbury, Vermont. The five-day event sees eleven biathletes from Ontario, test their performance limits to earn an opportunity to represent Ontario at the upcoming Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island.

The Biathlon Bears program is a multi-tear sport program engaging youth through the skills of nordic skiing and the precision of markmanship shooting. Target age group for the Biathlon Bears program is between the ages of 7 and 14.
