Biathlon Bears

General Information

The Biathlon Bears program is a three-tiered skill development initiative for children aged 8 to 14. It introduces the essential skills and techniques of biathlon through engaging, hands-on learning, interactive games, and club competitions, all while emphasizing fun and participation. Modeled after Cross Country Canada’s Jackrabbits and Track Attack programs, it is designed for weekly sessions that cater to both beginners and experienced young athletes, allowing them to advance at their own pace.

Upon completing the Biathlon Bears Program, based on their age and interest level, athletes are encouraged to continue their development by enrolling in either the Biathlon Bears Racer program or a competitive program suited to their age group.
