2015 Bruno’s Cup – Results

Good evening everyone.

I wish to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers that dedicated some of their times to make this year race a success. We were graced with excellent weather, and a lot a cheers from all the spectators. Some of the spectators were so engrossed in the cheering of the younger participants that they missed their own start time.

I wish to also thank our sponsor for this years event. All participants from the pre-juvenile category to those of the Jr Boys/Girls have received a complimentary water bottle from 2294 Army Cadets.

And finally Also I would like to thank Thunder Bay Nordic Trails/Kamview Nordic Centre and especially Peter Crooks for the excellent grooming despite his busy schedule of getting the course ready for next weekend’s event at the Sleeping Giant.

LSB Open House – 12 Oct 2014

Members of the public are condignly invited to the Lake Superior Biathlon Open House happening at the Thunder Bay Fish and Games to showcase the club biathlon programs.

For the Biathlon Bears program (Air Rifles), the timings will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm, immediately followed by the 0.22 programs from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Those wishing to participate in the 0.22 activity, please bring personal ear plugs (foam type), and safety glasses.

Biathlon Programs Drop-in Sessions

To increase the numbers in our enrollment, we will be offering two drop-in sessions for both the Biathlon Bears and 0.22 programs on the 19 and 26 Oct 2014.   This will give the opportunity to anyone to get a feel for the programs before completely committing to the sessions.

Timings will be from 11:00am – 12:30pm for the Biathlon Bears program, and from 1:00pm-2:30pm for the 0.22 session.

After these dates it will be appointment only.

Sessions Cancelled for 28 Sep 14

Please be reminded that session scheduled for 28 Sep 2014 have been cancelled.  Jr Boys/Girls Competition programs will resume on Wednesday 01 Oct 2014 at 4:30pm.
